If it was easy, everyone would be successful. "Don't wish it was easy, wish you were better" –Jim Rohn. Talking about what needs to be done will never get you where you want to go, but doing what needs to be done will get you closer. The more you talk about it and never act on it, the farther away that goal will be. So in fact, it is harder to get there by talking than it is by taking action. That is why I like saying: "Easier done than said". Nothing comes easy and if it did, it would be a boring story to listen to. Here is a major tip that will get you where you want to go.

Weather the Storm
Focus on the positive results that may come from taking action. Avoid speaking, thinking or focusing on all the things that might go wrong if you take the first step. There are no multi-millionaires that focus on the negative. Millionaires constantly move and take action towards the great things that come from doing what needs to be done to earn success. "No Risk. No nothing" –Gitomer. Success will not lay in your lap and it will not be a smooth ride either. If you are not willing to take a risk and go through the struggle, you will be stuck where you are for a very long time. The longer you wait, the stronger the fear will get. Most people are not willing to sacrifice what they have, in order to get what they really want. Therefore, they will never experience their maximum potential in order to keep feeling "safe". Always focus on the positive results to motivate yourself to move forward.

Stop creating problems for every solution provided to you. Stop saying: "It is not easy". No one says it is. But it is easy to stop talking negative. Those who blame others and their current situations will most likely never see their true potential. Avoid blaming or looking for every "reason" not to get what you truly deserve. Because only you can make it happen for yourself. Not the government, not your family and not your friends. True change, growth and impact starts with you. Are you ready to make it happen today?

The Classics
Here are some of the classic excuses, reasons or situations that are heard from those who are not willing to make the first step. Successful and significant people have overcome these, if not every single one them in order to provide themselves and their families with a better life. "I have kids and I have to think of them", "I don't have the time", "I don't think I can", "I don't have the money", "I want to make sure that when I do it, I don't do it half way", "I'm going through some problems", "Now is not the time", "I'm afraid", "I don't know", "You don't understand" and many more. Do people really think that successful people did not have any of these problems and it was just perfect for them to succeed? People are not willing to do the hard work that it takes to make life easier. Example: Focusing on everything that stops me from going to the gym will in fact hold me from going. I really do not enjoy going to the gym. I really don't. But I love the results. I love the results way much more than how I dislike the pain of those lunges. Focusing on the positive results makes me get up and hit the weights. The remarks that I get from my wife when I flex for her makes me want to go to the gym again.

Now what?
It takes pain. It takes risk. It takes getting back up. It takes not quitting. It takes being extremely uncomfortable. It takes avoiding nagging and explaining current situations. It takes a better you. It takes the best of you. How much do you want it for yourself and those you love? Go get it champ!
