You can become one of the greatest sales person, a great persuader and an incredible provider of value. Still, you will have to keep a full pipeline of prospects to make a productive week full of results. Some will buy, some won't. So what? Keep going! You can either get frustrated for not making that one sale you scheduled for that week or drive your focus towards getting excited for the next one, and the next one, and the next one. You believe in your company. You have facts and you know your product and service is phenomenal. And you know YOU are great. Go out there and let them know what they are missing! If you do not feel this way about your company, your product / service and yourself, you should start looking for something else to represent, because the slightest doubt will stop you from promoting and putting yourself in front of people.
One secret weapon
Alright! Here it is. This will increase your sales, give you credibility and create excitement for your prospects. Some things work better than others and this will. I want you to become a great salesperson and earn all the income that you deserve. So, do this! No excuses! With this, selling will get a lot easier. Take the time to call 5 loyal customers of yours that you have impacted with your service / product. It could also be business partners. Family members do not count. Have you impacted anyone around with what you do? Have they thanked you for it? Then, contact them and ask them to be one of your testimonials. If you have in fact helped them, they will be ecstatic to help you. Not just a written testimonial, but a VIDEO testimonial. If you have out-of-state customers, have them send you a mobile video or some type of format that you can easily receive in an email, or even upload it to a server.

Are you still thinking about it? I know it takes work! But most people don't do the hard work it takes to make selling easy. Here is a tip on making the video. Keep it short. Do not have your customers / partners only talk about how "great" or "awesome" you are. That is too vague. They have to be specific in how you have helped them. Don't tell them what to say, but ask the correct questions in the interview so they reveal the specifics on what you would want to hear from them. Have your clients / customers / partners talk about different aspects of how you provided a solution for their needs. Do you have people that are willing to do that? If you do not, oh boy! You need to start creating real relationships. Because you might think you have some relationships, but in fact you do not.
