Get rid of the junk!
You speak about what you see, about what you read, what you know, what you experience and what you like to experience right? So if you see junk, read junk, learn junk and experience junk, it is safe to say that you will speak junk. The words that you use and how you deliver them to people are one the most persuading and contagious tools you have. How you are using them could be the deciding factor for people buying YOU, or not. So where are you learning the words from, and how are you learning to deliver them?

Major junk
What are some of the things you talk about on a daily basis? Most people tend to chat about the events broadcasted on the news to make conversation. It usually starts like: "Did you hear about___?" Inside the "junk dictionary", the second-in-line from the top junk items is the "news", right after "junk food". Isn't it funny how the NEWS report events and have "experts" grace us with their opinions? "Tell us your point of view Expert John. Well I think that blah blah blah". Like if the men in charge of our country will actually take their opinions into consideration. But it sure appeals to the people watching! Don't let me get started about the news!

Well actually, please allow me to retort! There is absolutely nothing in the news that can improve your life or help you build a positive contagious behavior. Watching the news and speaking about it to others won't change the system or your circumstances either. Your mind is naturally fascinated to disaster, they know it, and the news feed your cravings. Soap operas do a very good job at that too. So if you eat junk, see junk, think junk and speak junk, makes you wonder why people say China is kicking our butt.

The media fast
Here is an idea! How about going not watching any news, reality shows, talk shows and see what happens to the words that you speak? I bet that you will start attracting those who speak the same words and scaring away those who don't, which is exactly what you want in your life. "Argh! That motivation game doesn't last". Showers don't last either, but you sure need one every day, because if you don't shower, you'll stink! Instead of using your time to feed your brain with bull crap, you can use it to learn about people skills, sales or growing your business. You'll start speaking wisely in a matter of days. You might even impress your spouse which you haven't in a long time.

You can be different
I read a quote yesterday on Facebook that said: "They laugh at me because I'm different; I laugh at them because they are all the same." WOW! And then some of your friends will tell you: "Man, you've been brainwashed". Brainwashed to speak positive, help others accomplish goals, develop yourself into a contagious person and a super salesman, while finding solutions, providing value and making money? "Guilty as charged! Your sentence: Life, in abundance!" And while your friends keep telling you that you don't know what is "Going on out there" because you don't watch the news, you can reply by signing: "Look at me now! I'm getting paper!" So this is you being brainwashed: "Run, run, run, high-five, cha-chin!" and this is them being brainwashed: "Duh! Click, click, click" in the remote.

You are what you think about
Your life is not what the TV screen says it is, and guess what? Neither is the world. News only display the bad part of the world. You have a choice to go out there and display the good. You are meant to accomplish. Feeding your brain with junk, will only make you think and speak junk. And "as you think, you shall become".
